Niloufar Javadi Abhari is a Policy Manager at Globalfields. Niloufar joined Globalfields following the completion of her MSc in Environmental Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her academic background is further strengthened by a certificate in Sustainable Finance from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL).
Through her work, Niloufar has been specialising in development and climate policy research, focusing on providing research-backed climate finance solutions for Globalfields' diverse clients. She has developed a series of guidance papers on Nature-based solutions and regional public goods for the Asian Development Bank and contributed to developing the financing strategy for the Philippines’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC).
She has a variety of experiences in the sustainability and environmental sectors in the Middle East and the UK. Niloufar is a proficient English and Persian speaker with some knowledge of French and Arabic. Her interests are particularly centred around nature-based solutions, which harness the power of ecosystems to address climate change and biodiversity loss, and promote women's access to green finance, ensuring that the benefits of sustainable development are inclusive and equitable.
