Mohamed Yousif Bakr Osman

With 16 years of experience, Mohamed Yousif is a seasoned investment professional recognised for his expertise in complex investment transactions. He holds a Valedictorian B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Business & International Studies (UBIS) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Since April 2023, Mohamed has been a Senior Expert at Globalfields, where he co-developed innovative projects like the UNDP Solar Energy for Health and Climate Resilience in Tajikistan, among others.

Since July 2020, he's been the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Africa Catalytic Investment Partners, overseeing deal origination and spearheading strategic initiatives across Africa.

Previously, Mohamed spent six years at the Green Climate Fund, where he led the design of the Climate Innovation Facility. He also co-led the successful USD 500 Million request for proposals for Mobilizing Private Funds at Scale, attracting 350 project proposals totalling USD 40 Billion. Additionally, he was instrumental in designing and co-establishing GCF Co-Investment solutions with institutional investors and played a crucial role in the structuring and design of several investment funds.
